Andrea completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia in 2003, and her Masters in Science of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2006. She is a member of the Sport and Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Acupuncture Foundation of Canadian Institute. Andrea completed extensive post-graduate training and obtained her Certificate of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2010, in Perth, Australia. She also completed her Mulligan Concepts (Lower Quadrant) in 2014, in Melbourne, Australia and is also certified to perform IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation).
Andrea has experience in the hospital and community setting, working with patients of all ages and injuries. She also enjoys working in the pool setting providing hydrotherapy for Worksafe BC clients. Her interests lie in the area of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and sports injuries. Andrea enjoys playing soccer and slo-pitch, running, and travelling in her spare time, and has found a recent new hobby in competing in triathlons!
