Gilbert graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2008 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. He spent the next 3 years working as a kinesiologist providing exercise therapy for patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. He then went on to complete a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2013. Currently he is pursuing his level 3 certification with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy.
Gilbert has interests in rock climbing, combat sports, snowboarding, and yoga. He has interned with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, worked as a team trainer for the Poco Saints lacrosse team and currently provides therapy at martial arts events around the community.
Gilbert draws from his extensive exercise expertise and sporting experience to provide individually tailored treatments that incorporate manual therapy, exercise and patient education. He welcomes all clients from elite level athletes to weekend warriors who wish to decrease pain, improve their function and quality of life.
