Tina finds the most satisfying aspect of being a Physiotherapist is helping people break the vicious cycle of pain and dysfunction. She regularly sees how this cycle can lead to decreased participation in life – be it family life, sports life or work life.
Tina likes to break this cycle by using her many skills such as Medical Acupuncture, Soft Tissue Techniques and Dynamic Taping. She then empowers people through education and exercise prescription to help prevent the problem from re-occurring and ensure a quick return to enjoying the activities of life.
Tina graduated with an Honours Degree from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2010 and since then has had a diverse career including working with Gaelic football teams, leading Clinical Pilates classes, volunteering in Orphanages in India and working in a wide variety of hospital settings.
She has experience in treating clients from new borns to the elderly and with injuries or conditions related to sports, repetitive activities, car accidents, work accidents, trauma, burns, surgery, cardiac and neurological issues.
Tina is a member of PainBC and is certified in Medical Acupuncture, STOTT Pilates and Water Tai Chi.
Outside of work, Tina likes to improve her mind, body and soul by reading, practising yoga, running, skiing and hiking around beautiful B.C.!
